I Am You

Description

Created as a profound mirror for awakening, I Am You explores the journey from people-pleasing and external conditioning to radical self-acceptance.

At its heart, this piece features two distinct symbols: a peacock, representing the performing ego, the need for external validation, and the conditioned urge to shrink into spaces that do not serve us; and a swan, the embodiment of peace, grace, and stillness. As we look into the mirror and stop chasing worth, the swan reminds us not to beg for validation, but to recognize that we are created in beauty.

Enclosing the two animals is an intricate Islamic geometric pattern, reflecting the truth that whether we find ourselves in the restless peacock phase or the serene remembrance of the swan, we are, were, and always will be held and healed by the One who loves us most.

Titled I Am You, this artwork invites the viewer to see their own story reflected within the lines. May it serve as a gentle, daily anchor in your home—a reminder that both our patterns and our power to choose presence are entirely in our hands.
